We host three major outreaches each year that are completely free to attend, and we open the doors to anyone and everyone. One of these events is Easter Jam. At this event we serve a hot breakfast, tell an interactive Easter story, play games, make crafts, an Easter Egg hunt, etc. This event brings in upward of two hundred families.
We also host a one-day kids camp for any student up to grade six. At this event we serve breakfast, two snacks, and a BBQ dinner for the campers and their families. We have a keynote speaker, last year was a retired Army Captain. We play games, we do a craft that we deliver to a local nursing home. All students also receive a free camp T-shirt.
Our last major outreach event is called "Trunk’s w/ Treats". This is our Halloween outreach, and it brings in over 1,000 people a year. We fill our parking lot with decorated cars and give out candy, we have hotdogs for all, refreshments, bounce houses, games, balloon artists, etc.
We are a non-profit 501(c)3. We can make these events bigger and better each year due to donations from local businesses around our area.
