Marbridge is a non-profit residential community that offers transitional and lifetime care to adults with a wide range of cognitive disabilities and — through compassion and faith — provides them opportunities to learn, experience, and achieve a whole new life.

Marbridge’s objective is to provide a safe community where adults with IDD can learn independent living skills to either achieve enough independence to live in the greater community or, more likely, age-in-place on the Marbridge campus. Marbridge’s primary focus is serving residents with a secondary focus on their families, friends, and caregivers. The average stay is 15-years with many residents remaining on campus for 60+ years.

For most adults with intellectual disabilities, their greatest desire is to live as independently as possibility but unfortunately most programs around the country focused to serve those with cognitive and intellectual disabilities stop services in young adulthood. After aging out of services, people with IDD have nowhere to turn to continue independence or aging-in-place.

Marbridge helps residents acquire the life and job skills they need to live more independently by offering three levels of care – skilled nursing, assisted living, and independent/semi-independent living – along with 150 different training and education opportunities ranging from academics to life skills to career training.
