Mark Twain School for the Gifted and Talented IS 239 in Coney Island, NYC is a very special place for our teachers, students and parents. We see our students go on to great high schools, great colleges and in the case of our distinguished alumni, even Academy Awards! This kind of excellence does not happen by accident. It takes dedicated teachers, students, administrators, parents and individuals working together to make our school truly great.
