Koinonia is a 1200 acre outdoor Lutheran ministry located in the lower Catskill region of New York, which offers opportunities for guests of all ages, genders, body sizes, disabilities, financial statuses, ethnicities, and sexual orientations, to be surrounded by God's creation. Koinonia is owened by the Martin Luther Camp Corp and is incorporated as a 501c3 not-for-profit organization through the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA). The corporation is made up of more than 50 member congregations located throughout New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. In collaboration with these member congregtions, the Metro New York Synod of the ELCA, and community partners, Koinonia offers opportunities, programs, and facilities to serve individuals, families and congregations from all over the tri-state area.
