We are a small public high school on the Ohio River in Ohio about an hour away from Pittsburgh. We are starting a Positive Behavior Intervention System (PBIS) program that rewards students for their positive behavior. Students earn point call "Rider Bucks" based on good grades, good attendance, good behavior, good deeds, participation in extra-curricular activities like clubs, band, sports, etc. After they earn their points or "Rider Bucks" they will be allowed to spend them on different rewards like open lunch, independent study days, items in the school store, etc. We just want to reward our students for doing what is right and not always use negative reinforcement. Thank you for your time and consideration.
