Mary’s Place Refugee Outreach was founded in 2009 as an enrichment center for refugees to gain assistance as they seek safety and independence in their new lives here in the U.S. We serve hundreds of refugee families each year from countries as far away as Nepal, Somalia, and Sudan, among many others.
Mary's Place provides a robust offering of services for local refugees, including adult English Language classes, a Job Skills class focused on women seeking sustainable employment, and daily case management services to help ease the transition into a completely new culture. We also offer weekly food, clothing, and hygiene product distribution as well as immigration services for our families. All of Mary’s Place services are provided free of charge.
