Parkland Magnet Middle School’s Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) is a non-profit organization comprised of engaged parents, staff, and interested students working together to create a sense of connection and community at our school.
Our PTSA plays a pivotal role in supporting Parkland students as we recover from a year plus of shut-down due to Covid 19. Our parents, students, and staff understand that supported students are successful students. So, we support our students by connecting with other parents, making our voices heard at the county and board-of-education level, staying informed (of resources, events, policy), funding educational and enriching programs like the National Junior Honor Society, building new initiatives & social activities, and sponsoring families who have a burden of meeting the cost of those activities. We also support our teachers & staff by offering mini grants for activities they organize and celebrating their hard work and dedication to Parkland students.
