We are a Title I school in Las Vegas, Nevada with low income families. Our student athletes work hard and want to play hard. They are not provided the same opportunities as others and we want to give them the same experience and more.
In the upcoming school year, we will be having five teams and a volleyball afterschool camp with about 80 student athletes involved. The items we would like to provide range from volleyball shoes, uniforms, practice attire, knee pads, and an assortment of other items and equipment.
Our Program is new but we have a strong belief in sports playing a large factor in a child’s life. Being a Title 1 school many of our student don’t fully experience this. We not only want to give the players a competitive experience, we want them to experience the comradery of playing on a team, how to represent the school by not only being an athlete but a model student as well. Lastly we want to show there are opportunities for their future and we will be there to support them the entire way.
To provide an experience for our student athletes to learn the great sport of volleyball, teamwork, trust, motivation, ambition, confidence in themselves, and memories that will last forever.
