Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center Inc. (MWCHC) provides quality healthcare, health education, and promotes wellness regardless of a person's ability to pay. We provided services for nearly 16,000 patients through over 50,000 patient visits last year. These services include family, children, pediatric and geriatric medicine, dental care for children and adults, mental and behavioral health serivces, a laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, gynecology, obstetrics, prenatal care, nutrition counceling including a food bank, social services, medical case management, hypertension and cancer prevention. A healthy body and mind fosters a better understanding of ourselves and the world around us.
MWCHC provides healthcare to all people; however, 68% of our patients' household income is below $25,000, and 75% are people of color. Fees for services for those without healthcare insurance is based on income.
