The mission of the Mayborn Museum is "Engaging our community and inspiring lifelong learning through our rich collections, vibrant programs, and hands-on experiences." We primarily serve the central Texas region. Our museum is a merge of a 130 year old natural history museum, a childrens, museum, a 1890s historic village, Baylor University's Museum Studies Proram, and we are a partner in the running of Waco Mammoth National Monument.
