Maywood's mission is to become a people to reach people for Christ. The purpose of signing up for donation match is to fundraise for our youth annual golf outing, which is the only fundraiser that supports our youth program for the year. With the funds we keep the cost of our youth program to a minimum for youth and allow youth to attend our multiple annual retreats at little to no cost. Our role in our community is critcal. Rockford is a tough city and has it's share of issues including poverty and crime. We have multiple opportunities to reach into our community and give back to troubled youth starting with our free tutoring program, various weekly meeting opportunities and multiple retreats per year all of which offer safe opportunities for youth to be mentored and taught that their lives have value.
