We are writing and reaching out on behalf of McBay-Sims PTA. Our PTA is a small volunteer group of full-time working parents along with staff volunteers who work to fundraise to provide all Pre-K through 5th grade students in Mexia with some extras that benefit students, parents, community, faculty & staff. The PTA has helped with many things over the years, including field trips, Fall Festival, pictures with Santa and Polar Express Day, surprises and goodies for our amazing faculty and staff, and even large purchase items like the playground equipment and the digital sign in front of our schools.
As most of you know, the last few years have been non-traditional for our students, teachers, and families. Therefore, our fundraising has been impacted and so the PTA has gotten creative with what to do moving forward.
This will be an opportunity for all members of our community to help enrich the physical and social relationships for our children at school during recess.
