Our mission is to provide innovative therapeutic programs and resources for children with special needs and their families.
Over the past 20 years, McKenna Farms has become a well-known and well-loved community asset, serving children with a variety of developmental delays, disabilities, and neurological disorders, including autism, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, traumatic brain injuries, and genetic or chromosomal abnormalities. Today, more than 500 children visit the farm each week for physical therapy, speech, therapy and occupational therapy, as well as equine-assisted activities including hippotherapy and therapeutic riding. Additional programs include summer camps, a Twinkle Toes adaptive dance program, a Farm Fitness Club, and parent support groups and workshops.
