McLean is dedicated to providing and/or coordinating with partners a full continuum of quality, cost-effective health, houseing and community support services to seniors and other with health realated needs. The hospice and home care program is the one part of McLean, however, it is the health care arm in the community. It provides vital home care and hospcie services to those in their homes or in other facilities. McLean home care and hospice is available to home health, palliative and hospice patients in twelve towns in the Farmington Valley.
McLean home care & hospice is consistently highly-ranked as a state and national agency, while also winning top workplace for the paast five years. All money raised by the tournament and auction goes to providing holistic, high quality, effective and efficient multidisciplinary servies in a safe and caring setting. Not all hospice services are covered by insurance and the McvLean program provides respite, additional volunteer training, and specialized services such as Reiki and massage for patients.
The tournament and auction is the one fundraiser for home care and hospice each year.
