Meadows Arts and Technology Elementary School (MATES), a Thousand Oaks Charter School awarded status of Distinguished and Exemplary in the Arts, will hold our Annual Benefit Dinner and Silent Auction on Friday, May 6th, 2022. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and is attended by teachers, parents, friends and community members.
The success of the auction is dependent, in large part, on the generosity of local merchants who donate products, services and gift certificates. We are contacting you to request a donation for our event to be part of our silent auction or live auction. Every dollar raised at this event goes directly to the school and will be used for things such as technology upgrades in the classroom, school beautification, programs benefiting the children (eg, Art @ Lunch, Science Fair, Winter Art Gallery, Running Club, Music programs), and outdoor equipment.
MATES is a publicly-funded school that serves families living in Thousand Oaks and the surrounding neighborhoods. Our families are very active at our school and in the community. They are loyal patrons of local businesses, particularly those that are kind enough to contribute to our fundraisers.
When you make a tax-deductible donation, you will also receive special recognition in the auction catalog, and your business would also be prominently featured on the event website. Upon receipt of your donation, we will provide you with a tax receipt which will include our tax ID number.
