The Medic One Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives by improving pre-hospital emergency care.

Donations to the Medic One Foundation help us train and educate new Medic One paramedics for King County and the Puget Sound region, as well as purchase much needed critical equipment for smaller fire departments throughout the region. Over the past 48 years, we have trained over 600 paramedics and funded $1 million dollars in equipment grants.

Medic One Emergency Medical Services serves more than 2 million people in our community, and provides life-saving services on average every 3 minutes. The Medic One Foundation is a critical link in our region's Medic One Emergency Medical System, helping to ensure and advance a level of pre-hospital emergency care that is second to none.

Charitable contributions to the Medic One Foundation are the sole source of support for our world-renown Paramedic Training Program. Because the training program is privately funded, our region's paramedics are among the most highly skilled paramedics in the country––achieving a survival rate for sudden cardiac arrest that is two times the national average.
