Since its founding in 1946, Meeting Street has been on the vanguard of educational and therapeutic best practice for children with special needs. Today, Meeting Street works with children of all abilities, ranging from those without delays to those with severe/profound intellectual and developmental disabilities. Serving more than 6,000 annually, Meeting Street's mission is top compassionately and innovatively empower children and their families to thrive by fostering the development of the whole child. 

Meeting Street's Early Childhood Services (prenatal -- age 4) include: Healthy Families America, Early Head Start, Early Intervention, WIC, and our state-certified Early Learning Center. Our School Age Services include: the Grace School (K-8), and inclusive school for students with and without disabilities, and The Carter School, a high school for students with significant and multiple special needs, ages 13 - 22.
