Meg's Smile Foundation was founded by Jim & Terri Wasley in memory of their daughter, Meg, who passed away from a brain tumor at the age of 8. Meg's Smile Foundation provides "Smiles" to children, teens and young adults affected by serious illnesses. Since 2011, the Foundation has granted over 415 Smiles to deserving kids. Each Smile is designed around the recipient's interests and physical capabilites and have included trips, excursions, experiences, concerts, electronics, companion pets, bicycles to get to treatments, and even an engagement ring Smile! The Foundation collaborates with area hospitals, doctors, social workers, child life specialists and friends and family for Smile referrals.
