Over the past 10 years, Melodic Caring Project (MCP) has been connecting patients with musicians, Broadway performers and celebrities virtually by live-streaming their performances directly to hospital rooms around the world. MCP uses the power of music (music therapy) and personal connection to to provide ongoing support to those in isolation and quarantine as well as a community of support for their families. Due to COVID, we've adapted our programming from connecting artists on stage to now, connecting artists from their own homes, directly with patients in hospitals and home-care rooms worldwide. In addition to supporting kids facing illnesses, MCP has expanded their program to provide care for all-ages, hospice patients, healthcare workers, and others dealing with the difficulties of COVID, isolation, mental health and anxiety. Over the last year, funding is down 57% while our impact is up 500% through the expansion of our programs.
