Mending Arrow Ranch is a Cleveland, TN nonprofit equine therapeutic riding center uniquely tucked in the crossroads of Bradley, Hamilton, Catoosa and Whitfield counties. Because of the unique placement, the ranch has served youth in the Chattanooga area and North Georgia community since 2016. Our mission as an equine ministry it to connect a horse and child to achieve the goals of mending and redeeming hearts, minds, bodies, and souls. We offer multiple programs at the ranch, each with a specific child focus and our program sessions are provided on a one-on-one basis, tailored to each student's specific needs. All of our sessions are offered at a reduced cost to our families and the sessions for the children supported by our Brave One program, described below, are offered completely free of charge.
● Brave One is our program for children and adults ages 2-21 with special needs. These special needs can include Autism Spectrum Disorder, Development Delays, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Epilepsy, Traumatic Brain Injury, and many others. Sessions for this program are offered free of charge to our students.
● Our Dream Catchers program implements equine trauma-based care and mindfulness techniques to serve children ages 2-16 who suffer from behavioral issues, anxiety, depression, and/or emotional stressors.
● The 4 Directions program provides encouragement, self-confidence, and leadership skills to young women ages 8-18 who are vulnerable to issues in their social environment.
● The Reading Warriors program at Mending Arrow Ranch provides unique outreach at local schools and community events to promote the love of reading.
