Mission Statement
Mental Health Association in New York State, Inc. (MHANYS) improves the lives of individuals, families, and communities by raising mental health awareness, ending stigma and discrimination, and promoting wellness and recovery.
MHANYS is a 501(c)(3) organization that focuses on the mental health well-being of individuals and families throughout New York State. Established in 1960, MHANYS provides trainings to school personnel, families/caregivers, first responders, community organizations, and other community members. MHANYS also works on public policy that supports strengthening mental health.
