The Merced County CLEO is a non-profit community-based organization that relies on generous donors to provide transformative community-based work. Since the start of the Merced County CLEO inception a little over twenty years ago, we have helped local youth groups, recreational organizations, poverty stricken families, and many other local organizations in need of support. Our largest giving season is throughout the holiday season including "Operation Christmas Star" when we give gifts to needy children and adopt less fortunate families. in 2020, we helped over 550 families and nearly 2000 children in "Operation Christmas Star" throughout Merced County.
Our largest fundraising event is a fundraising dinner called "Christmas in July". This year's event will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the Merced Elks Lodge in Merced, CA. We request a donation of park tickets to be given as a raffle prize at the year's "Christmas in July" Fundraising dinner. The money raised during this event will go directly to "Operation Christmas Star"
