The Mercer County CYO is a public benefit community development organization that enhances the lives of Greater Mercer County youth and their families by providing affordable, quality and educational recerational services. Rooted in the Catholic tradition the CYO provides these services in an inclusive and non-discriminatory manner respecting the culture and faith of all.
The CYO annually serves more than 1000 children from ages 2-17 in daily programs at its 5 sites and continues to service over 1000 children aged 8 -14 from Mercer Catholic Schools and parishes in seasonal athletic leagues for basketball, soccer,softball and other sports. Currently served by 45 full time staff persons including an Executive Director and 5 program directors as well as certified preschool teachers and over 125 camp and after school program counselors as well as 100's of volunteers. The CYO is presently undergoing program expansions, buidling rennovations and tremendous overall grother. A very active 12 member Board of Trustees is committed to a CO willing and able to rach out and service the youth of Trenton and Mercer County.
