Mercy Flight Central was founded as a non-profit in 1992 to provide air medical services to our community. Since inception, the organization has served more than 15,000 patients and grown to approximately 70 employees. This includes bases of operations in Canandaigua, Marcellus and Rome, allowing us to serve the Finger Lakes, Central and Mohawk Valley regions of New York State. Following our core values of Integrity, Compassion and Excellence, our team of Pilots, Flight Nurses and Flight Paramedics, are at the ready 24/7/365 to provide the highest level of pre-hospital care available to patients--regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.
