Messiah Fine Arts Ministry (MFAM) is a community outreach program of Messiah Lutheran Church in Yorba Linda. MFAM has been entertaining and serving the community for over 23 years through its productions of plays and musicals. MFAM benefits the community by providing a summer theater program that is free to participants of all ages throughout the community, where everyone who auditions receives a part in the show. Children, teens and adults learn all aspects of theater including acting, singing, dancing and production. MFAM also provides a free matinee to senior citizens residing in nearby care centers of the community. This summer's show is Bye Bye Birdie with seven performances July 27-August 5, 2018. To keep ticket prices low and fund the costs of the ministry, we rely on the support of patrons and local businesses. We sell tickets to opportunity baskets at each show. Fundraising is critical to the continuance of this important community program as MFAM is self-funded. Last year, over 1,000 people were in attendance and our cast was nearly 95 people including children and adults.
