Serving Our Seniors (SOS) mission is to “preserve the independence and well-being of our Senior Neighbors in Northeast Tarrant County.” We accomplish this through three key programs that are powered by community volunteers.
• Transportation: for routine medical appointments and quality of life drives
• Helping Hands: for minor home repairs, wheelchair ramp construction and yard care
• Social Outreach: connecting and expanding senior networks through volunteer visits, social events, Phone Friends Program and the Holiday Outreach Program
We serve seniors in 11 communities including Bedford, Colleyville, Euless, Grapevine, Haltom City, Hurst, Keller, North Richland Hills, Richland Hills, Southlake and Watauga. Serving Our Seniors is supported through the generosity of local churches, businesses, civic groups, and individuals. All program services are provided free-of-charge to our Senior Clients.
