We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to provide support to law enforcement families who have children living with a medical condition or disability. We realize that illnesses and disabilities cause serious emotional and financial strain on the entire family. While we are not able to cure a child’s illness or disability, we would like to help by providing financial assistance to our recipients.
The Mikey G’s Embracing Wings Foundation was created in memory of Michael Geraldi, a 16 year veteran of the New York City Police Department who died suddenly on September 1, 2020. It was established in August 2021 to honor Mike’s life and dreams. The main mission of this organization connects two of Mike’s passions, being a police officer and helping children in need. Just as Mike embraced everyone he met, this foundation will embrace those children and their families.
