MIKID is the largest family-run behavioral health organization in Arizona. For more than 30 years, MIKID has supported families with children affected by mental illnesses. Over 51% of the staff and board of directors have personal lived experience as family members, parents, and/or young adults who have dealt personally with behavioral health issues. MIKID programs foster healthy family dynamics by emphasizing prevention of homelessness and domestic violence, as well as reductions in incarceration and recidivism. As a result, we help businesses by preventing turnover and constant onboarding, lowering dropout rates, reducing hospitalizations, and building a better, safer, and healthier city and state.
