Mills High School is a public high school in Millbrae, CA. Like all public schools, we struggle for extra funding for our programs.
- The Mills Musical Arts Group (MMAG) is the parent booster group that supports our music students and music program. We are made up entirely of parent volunteers. The Mills music programs encompasses students in concert band, jazz band, pep band, chamber orchestra, and choir. Our mission is to fund raise to help purchase and maintain instruments, repair broken instruments, pay for specialized clinics and clinicians, enroll our groups in competitive festivals, help fund deserving students to enroll in specialized music camps, and help fund scholarship requests for travel expenses to competitions and performances. In addition to fundraising, our parent volunteers help the music director in organizing school performances, travel to festivals and field trips.
- Our school concerts are a showcase of our students' hard work and artistry, performing their musical pieces in front of the Mills community. The students also gain exposure to different kinds of musicians by creating arrangements across different music groups. These concerts serve as one of the MMAG's chief fundraisers in the form of ticket sales, concessions and raffle. The raffles, consisting of donated items, help raise much needed funds and it would be extremely helpful to add any item that can be donated. Thank you.
