The S.S. Milwaukee Clipper Preservation, Inc., a non-profit 501 (c) (3) was organized in April, 1998
with a mission for the sole purpose of restoring and preserving the steamship S.S. Milwaukee Clipper
and to create an on-board Great Lakes Maritime Museum to educate and inform the public about our
Great Lakes maritime heritage. The vision of the S.S. Milwaukee Clipper Preservation, Inc., is that
future generations will be able to enjoy and discover this National Historic Landmark that is also on the
National Register of Historic Places. Our maritime history and artifacts will be emphasized.
