Ministerial Association Temporary Shelter (MATS) is a self sufficiency non-profit organization from Morristown, TN - we house homeless individuals (men and women) and whole families.
Our Shelter provides free food, budgeting classes, job searching help, free hygiene products, and free room and board. MATS is a compassionate shelter which provides a full program and meers the needs of families and individuals regardless of race, culture, gender, religion, or age.
We are open 24/7 and during the pandemic we did not shut down. Several of our staff members had COVID and others had to step up and work long hours and extra shifts.
