As a part of the Spokesman-Recorder's 501(c)3 non-profit community outreach and education initiative, Sister Spokesman's mission is to provide women of color in the Twin Cities with a comprehensive and unique networking outlet, as well as exposure to local area business that provide products and services for women. The afternoon is focused on forming and nurturing relationships, welcoming newcomers, and learning more about the many issues they face, while simultaneously connecting them with companies, organizations, and institutions that can assist in changing their lives. Sister Spokesman highlights can include gift bags, door prizes, raffles, and giveaways. We invite you to invest and join in the Sister Spokesman experience, as it is our goal to connect with partners that have similar missions to uplift and empower woman. Sister Spokesman's mission is to support excellence through education in Minnesota's communities of color; the vision is become a change agent closing the gap in educational and social disparities.
