Mint to Be of the Carolinas is to significantly improve the support to single and married mothers in need of our community through support, counseling, education, and advocacy. Our vision is to be a safe place for mothers regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, or economic status. The women can turn to Mint to Be for support when facing life challenges and transitions or seeking personal development. Our vision is realized because of our partners, corporate, non profits and charities who work with us to break the stigma often associated with by promoting the improved quality that these essential services bring.
We serve single and married mothers of all ages and that are in need. We provide postpartum counseling and financial literacy programs for those that are committed to change. The programs have been signficant for the mothers and their children. Mint to Be of the Carolinas also host (2) Community Baby Showers per year. One in the Spring and one in the Fall. Our Spring shower we bless a mother with daycare (fully paid for) for a child to attend daycare full time as well. At the baby shower , the mothers recieve essential items for their babies and a postpartum swag bag just for them. There are also local resources avaliable for the moms to learn more about and have a better understanding that they are not alone on this journey of motherhood.
