Mira Vista School is a Richmond K-8 public school, and is in the top 5% most diverse schools in the nation. 58% of our families qualify for free/reduced lunch and we’re a Title 1 school. Our PTA is committed to ensuring that all of our students have equal access to enrichment and educational experiences beyond the classroom. The Mira Vista PTA funds art and music programming, garden and nutrition education, social emotional wellness initiatives, teacher grants, and field trips.
One of Mira Vista’s strengths is undoubtedly its community. The network of teachers, parents, administrators, students, staff, and community members build a framework that we strive to leverage to support educational experiences and to provide a place of belonging for everyone. While it is not limited to those active in the PTA, our PTA does make it possible to fund programming and events that make that community stronger.
