Miracle House Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit facility founded in 1994. Our primary purpose is to help women age 18 years and older in their recovery from addiction using the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. We offer a three month live-in program in a warm, nurturing environment. We also offer Alcoholic Anonymous meetings to hundreds from the community six days per week.
It is our belief that while chemically dependent individuals are not responsible for their disease, they must take full responsiblility for their own recovery and the steps needed to become self-sufficient. Adopting an "attitude of gratitude" is their first step to starting a successful recovery program.
