The unique purpose of PTA is to promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, and community. PTA aims to bring together parents, educators, and the community to advocate for every child's education, health, and well-being. They provide resources, support, and opportunities for parents to be actively involved in their child's education and development. Texas PTA also works towards improving education policies and legislation to ensure that all children have access to a quality education.
PTA executes their purpose through various initatives and actions. It fullfills its purpose through advocay, parent education and engagement, member training and resources, health and safety initiatives and through collobration and partnership with organizations, community groups and institutions.
