Modulation Z Booster Organization - Ft. Zumwalt Combined (Mod Z)amis to create an amazing member experience by bringing an inspiring, unforgettable, performance to life. We do this by combining components of percussions performance, dance, and theater. Through the experience with our group, students will learn useful life skills, leadership skills, and goal setting skills. Our program encourages students to fulffil their potential not only as musicians but as productive human beings.
Transforming lives through percussions. Making music. It is one of the most demanding cognitive and neural challenges for a person. Now imagine durmming while marching, managing hand and feet coordination in sync with 24 other performers in the battery alongside another 16 youth playing rack. Our drumlime performs for thousands of people throughout Missouri, one festival in Illinois and during our World Championship in Dayton, Ohio. We operate on a shoestring budget - our school district sees us as a club and provides space for rehearsals and a local bus. No other funding is provided. Operating expenses fall on the shoulders of the parents and philanthropic community. There is a scholarship fund to assist those who may experince economic barriers. We are in need of replacing worn and even cracked musical equipment as well as purchase a 28ft. trailer to transport our equipment to competitions. Our group comprises of 40 youth from diverse backgrounds and performs in front of crowds with 600 - 1000 spectators at a time.
