Through the funds and/or goods & services donated from generous school and community members like you, the MTE PTO is able to fund many school-wide initiatives that are able to benefit every student such as teacher and grade level grants, school-wide spirit wear, and curriculum enhancements such as Brain Pop. The PTO also helps fund school events like Fifth Grade Graduation, Family Fun Nights, Field Day, Kindy 500, Back to School Bash, classroom parties, extra-curricular clubs and more!
In addition, the PTO sponsors continuing education programs for teachers, staff appreciation events,a yearly Carmel Education Foundation Scholarship and the Mohawk Family Assistance Program.As we are a Title 1 School, our Mohawk Family Assistance Program works to provide basic student needs such as clothing and backpacks, books at Book Fair, yearbooks, and field trip opportunities to our students in greatest need of assistance.
