MollySTRONG Foundation was created in honor of 15 year old Molly Kuchta who was diagnosed with hypodiploid ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) in February of 2014. Through the kindness of co-workers, a MollySTRONG Golf Tournament was started to support Molly and her family and raise money for the National Bone Registry (to help Molly find a match) in 2014. The golf tournament has continued each year with continued success. MollySTRONG Foundation gained its 501(c) (3) status in 2016 and has developed a relationship with a researcher at St. Jude's Hospital in Tennessee who specifically studies the type of leukemia Molly has. All proceeds from the last 2 golf tournaments have helped support his research team and we would like to continue to support them as they make great strides in the treatment options for leukemia. We hope that better treatment options and better outcomes mean that children are suffering less from the debilitation side effects that current treatments have.MollySTRONG Foundation has also started a scholarship at the high school Molly attended for other students going through a cancer diagnosis during high school. Molly is now 19 years old and a freshman in college. She successfully completed her chemotherapy is June of 2016 and is doing well
