The Monarch School of New England (MSNE) is a non-profit, specialized, day school for students ages 5-21 with significant and complex developmental, physical, emotional, behavioral and medical disabilities. Located in Rochester, New Hampshire, the school serves students from over 30 school districts across New Hampshire and southern Maine, whose needs cannot be safely or appropriately met in a public school setting. MSNE is recognized across New England for excellence in academic, therapeutic, functional life skills, and vocational programming for students with complex disabilities.

The mission of the Monarch School of New England is as follows: MSNE supports individuals with special needs so they can realize their greatest potential. In this nurturing environment, a comprehensively trained staff works one-on-one with each individual, uniquely integrating both education and therapy, to ensure successful transitions to school and to the community.

The school’s work begins with a simple premise: every student has potential, and every student can learn. Students at MSNE are valued for their abilities. Students are seen for what they can do, rather than what they cannot. Every student’s program is highly individualized to celebrate their abilities, and provide supports and services to meet their unique needs. MSNE truly believes in providing unlimited possibilities for students with special needs, and it takes the support of a community to create such opportunities.
