Monroe Elementary is a public school, located in San Francisco’s Excelsior District, whose students reflect the unique diversity of our neighborhood. We offer over 550 students three language pathways: Spanish Immersion, Cantonese Bi-literacy, and English. We serve a high-needs population, with 74% of families designated as low income and 58% of students as English Language Learners.
Your donation to Monroe’s PTA will help us provide crucial financial support for classroom supplies and books, field trips to the Mission Science Center, recess support through the YMCA, cultural celebrations, World Dance classes and more.
We know the past two years have been difficult and we greatly value the partnership with the local business community especially those in the arts. Thank you for considering our request.
