We are a Christian private school with record high enrolment this year. We are currently serving grades JK to 8 but it is a dream to have a high school in the future. Majority of classrooms are filled to capacity and students go on wait lists. We continue to have more families seek enrolment in all classrooms.
Our school is recognized as a high academic success rate with graduating students, often showing 1-2 years above the CAT scores for academic testing. We are proud of our students and want the absolute best for them.
MSCS has been around since the late 1980's as a school founded by the local church. Since then, it has become Board Member run, and is now a non-denominational school. We represent about 20 different churches in the area. The school has operated from portables as well as the JK/SK using a Sunday School wing from the church where we are located it and who has been kind enough to allow us to rent this space. We do not have a gym and students rely on weather and a sports pad that was poured several years ago to practice their sports like basketball and hockey, as well as an outdoor volleyball net. Staff and students are certainly creative in how they teach and learn in all areas.
