•        PTSA is the largest child advocacy association in the United States

•        We are committed to issues that promote quality education, advocate for smaller classroom sizes, and support FCPS budgets that increase teacher pay

•        We are devoted to enhancing communication by keeping our school community informed of events, issues, and accomplishments

•        We can fundraise to support school programs, improvements, and educational events

•        We understand the challenges our school faces, want to be part of the solution, and develop a positive reputation in the community

•        We annually award mini-grants to our teachers

The Mount Vernon High School Parent Teacher Student Association (MVHS PTSA) meets monthly. These meetings are attended by the school's administration representative (the principal or designee) and the MVHS PTSA board to report the latest news, develop strategies for success, and implement activities in the best interest of our school.
