Mountain View Middle School in the Moreno Valley School District educates over 1100 students. We are an ethnically diverse school with a large socioeconomically disadvantaged population.

Mountain View strives for excellence by providing unique and varying opportunities for students to succeed regardless of social, economic, language, or racial differences. The instructional program in each classroom is based on the California Common Core State Standards. Students are provided with a rigorous curriculum, which is assessed through a variety of means, including common formative assessments, projects and state assessments.

Our vision is that Mountain View Middle School students will achieve academic excellence, meet grade level standards, and enter high school on the path to college and career readiness. We encourage our students to demonstrate Panther PRIDE (Perseverance, Responsibility, Integrity, Determination, and Excellence) as they continue to strive for greatness.
