MS 447, The Math & Science Exploratory School, is a public middle school that serves over 550 diverse students from all over District 15 in Brooklyn, NY.
The funds we raise go toward supporting our families, students and teachers. Included in our budget are hotspots for families without reliable internet access, books for our school libraries, arts grants, communication services and more. Funds also support our school’s unique Exploration Program, where we partner with scientific and cultural institutions. Expo engages our students in current events, real-life issues and field research, taking them out of the classrooms and into various institutions around the city. It’s one of the many things that makes our school so special.
