My name is Chelsey and I am a board member for the Mustang Panther Lacrosse Association. We are a local 501(c)(3) in the Grapevine, Colleyville, and HEB area with a mission to grow the game of lacrosse and provide additional youth sports options for boys and girls. Since lacrosse is still a growing sport in Texas, getting parent volunteers to coach is one of our biggest challenges followed by breaking the perception of it being a sport for wealthier families. To overcome this, we are working on fundraising efforts to provide the following support for those interested in joining:
· Player and Coach Development
· Scholarships to cover the cost of registration
· Providing free equipment to new players
· Covering the cost of uniforms and other necessary items for all participants
We are hosting a family friendly event called Great Saturday for the players and families in our organization ranging from Kindergarten to High School. This is our opportunity to celebrate our players while having a fun day of lacrosse games without tallying wins and losses. We invite the community to come out in hopes to share our love of lacrosse and help them learn more about it so we can grow the game.
As part of our fundraising efforts, we are having a raffle and auction to support our organization's mission. I am emailing to see if the Dallas Cowboys Organization would be willing to donate tickets, experience, autographed memorabilia etc.
We are happy to provide any necessary documentation for tax purposes and are open to discussing ways to promote your business as well.
