My Time To Shine Adaptive Sports and Recreation is a nonprofit adaptive sports program tailored to youth and young adults with disabilities and special needs.
Our goal is to provide each participant with a chance to play with a team at their own pace and be a part of something they otherwise would not get the chance to do.
Our program focuses on different sports and activities designed to give each participant a chance to play along with helping with other essential life skills such as self accomplishment, communication, social interaction, communication, problem solving, critical thinking, fine and gross motor skills, and etc.
So often those with disabilities and special needs, especially our children, are overlooked in today's society and our goal is to bring awarenesss that everyone deserves a chance and to be included.
