The Myasthenia Gravis Association (MGA) is dedicated to supporting patients, families, friends and communities of those impacted by myasthenia gravis, a rare autoimmune neuromusuclar disease.
The MGA does this work through new patient packets, support groups, 1-1 consultations, clinic partnerships at the University of Kansas Health System, St. Luke's Hospital and St. Louis University as well as education and awareness events.
There is no cure for myasthenia gravis which can impact one's speech, swallowing, vision and breathing. Therefore the goal of the MGA is to ensure that no patient walks alone.
