Mychal’s Learning Place is a non-profit organization that provides job training, employment opportunities, and life skills programs for young adults with developmental disabilities in the Los Angeles area. Through social enterprise initiatives like Mychal’s Bakery & Coffee in Hawthorne and Torrance, as well as Mychal’s Print & Embroidery in Redondo Beach, our participants are not only securing gainful employment but also acquiring the essential skills to lead more independent and fulfilling lives. Our After School Program provides a safe and inclusive space for adolescents and young adults (ages 13-22) to thrive and develop essential social and independent living skills while creating lifelong friendships.
