The National Kidney Foundation of Indiana (NKFI), Inc. is a major voluntary health organization founded in 1970. Our mission is to prevent kidney and urinary tract diseases, improve the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by these diseases, and increase the availability of all organs for transplantation. It is the only non-profit organization in the state of Indiana specifically dedicated to kidney and urinary tract disease prevention, education, service and advocacy. NKFI serves all residents of Indiana, however many of its programs target high-risk, under-served or uninsured populations including low income, minorities, and elderly.
